Has anyone experience of trying to get a good fit for the door panels but modifying the doors to
suit.
I though about cutting a narrow v cut in th rear part of the door to pull in the lower rear part of the door

Re: A110 door fit misalignment
It sounds like your door has warped if you are having to pull in the bottom part. What are you trying to achieve exactly. Mine had too large shut gaps when the car was being restored and the edges had to be built out to achieve the correct gaps.

Re: A110 door fit misalignment
I think it was built like that or perhaps ( as you say) it has warped over time.
Both sides are the same about 7 mm protruding out
see photo I thought i could cut a thin wedge shaped slot in the supporting frame and re matt the join
Anyone done that before??

Re: A110 door fit misalignment
You may still have a problem once you fit the door rubbers as they may still prevent it from closing correctly.
Have you considered a replacement door as it may be cheaper in the long run?
