FASA A110 dorr shut pillar trim

I have a 1972 FASA A110 and am puzzled on the detail fixing on the door shut pillar trim

The parts manual shows a straight metal piece on the sill section and a curved notched piece on the door shut pillar
both of these appear to be a u shaped piece.

on the sill section the P shaped trim is fixed under the metal strip and the interior carpet fits into the U.
On the door shut pillar the metal piece (again) lies over the P shaped trim but i cannot figure out how the trim on top fits

Le manuel des pièces détachées montre une pièce métallique droite sur le seuil et une pièce incurvée et crantée sur le montant de porte.

Also, there is a scheme on a topic explaining the dimension of the parts , but I do not manage to find it.

For my Fasa, I made it in a different way. I can send you pictures if necessary.

On the first picture, you can see the original U profil : I choose to change it because I find difficult to insert and correctly stretch the faux leather.

Bonjour, le manuel de pièces détachées que t'as mis en photo ne correspond pas aux FASA, les FASA ont un manuel spécifique. De ce fait est normale que ce qui est montré ne correspond pas à ta voiture.

J'ai quelque part une copie du manuel de pièces détachées FASA en papier et peut être en pdf (je ne suis pas certain) et une FASA conforme à son état d'origine.

Je pourrais faire quelques photos de mon montage. Par contre, je suis en train de déménager et réalisant des travaux dans la maison, donc pas accès au manuel de pièces détachées qui est quelque part dans un carton.

Si je trouve le manuel en PDF je le mettrais ici ainsi que sur le site internet de @Phl

Hello, the picture you show came from a French manual, the FASA had a specific one. It's so the assembly in your car doesn't match with drawings.

I have somewhere a copy of FASA manual (and maybe in PDF, but not completely sure ) and I have an original FASA not modified. I can take you some pictures.

But I'm moving actually and doing a lot of works in the new house, so the book is somewhere lost in a box and not so much time to find it.

Anyway if I found the PDF file I'll post it here and into @Phl website.

the spare-parts-cataloge for spanish A110 (=FASA) is P.R.918.
Here is the according page from it:

Parts with references 60 00 005 xyz, 60 00 006 xyz and 60 00 010 xyz are specially spanish (despite some of them were also exported to France, examples gearboxes 330-A4 and -4B, rear window, rear springs, front bumpers)

could do with a few more pictures on how the trim is fitted to the door shut pillar higher up

it has been suggested that the carpet orleathercloth is just edged with the plastic u strip and glued to the surface but iam not convinced that is correct .
