Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
Accepting that posting on the French concessions thread is clearly off topic, I'm not sure that a dedicated non-French thread is the best way forward. We all have a common interest in most of the threads.
Indeed my first concern is when demonstration cars will be available in France - since I will be going through France on the 5th of December. The chance to see the car in it's final spec (I assume) and perhaps even drive it would be great.

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
On another forum the non french poster used to post both in english and the google translation.
It solves both the off-topic and the language issue.

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
That does seem like a better solution to me - accepting that google translations are sometimes gobbledygook. Clearly there may be threads that are purely British, purely Australian etc.

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
The 5th December it will be too early to hope driving a car. Nevertheless you will see a PE model (final spec) at Boulogne Billancourt showroom but I guess it will be not available in the others centers before mid-december.Bcr1548 a écrit :Accepting that posting on the French concessions thread is clearly off topic, I'm not sure that a dedicated non-French thread is the best way forward. Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
Sure USA, Canada, Mexico, China, Italy, Spain... Although to my knowledge Alpine has no plan to sell in those countries for the time being. We are missing on the contrary Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany for which they have outlets.

I suppose because the Wizard was not Jean Rédélé, but only Amedée Gordini...Monoposto a écrit :Interesting, how come it is not listed as available in 2018 for Oz as well.

Not sure about Australia but one thing is for sure all countries are treated the same. So if you have similar reservation number, you will get delivered at the same time regardless of country of origin (France or not) .

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
Are you sure about that? Originally LHD cars were to be produced from 2017, but UK cars not until 2018. UK dealers won't be having their "education" until next year and haven't been formally announced yet. So I assumed, whatever the delay in production might be, that UK cars would come later than the first French ones.Peiclet a écrit :Not sure about Australia but one thing is for sure all countries are treated the same. Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
Right, I was referring to LHD and the outlets that are already opened or soon to be opened . So no preferred treatment of France over Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland for instance.

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
UK pricing creeping up?
''Prices for the 250PS 1.8-litre engine coupé are expected to start at around £48,000.''
https://www.am-online.com/news/dealer-n ... -car-brand
Top Gear, earlier in December 2017:
'' Let’s guess an entry-level Alpine will be about £45,000 basic. The two trim levels are Pure and Elegance, the former stripped out and 1,080kg, the latter more luxurious and about 1,120kg. Meanwhile, an Audi TT S starts at £40,840, a Cayman at £39,878. Neither is anything like as well equipped though. We have a modestly specced manual 718 Cayman in the Top Gear Garage. It lists at over £52,000. ''

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
Hi Bcr,
Good evening.
Today I received a message from Winchester. It appears there are delays. The Pure/Legende (previously to be delivered in November) delivery is now pushed back to 'Spring 2019'. Your PE should start being delivered in June.
Summary:
April - confirm PE orders
June - demonstrator arrives
August - showroom launch (work begins May 16th)
For Pure and Legende:
Summer - invite to test drive, confirm orders
Q4 - production starts
Pure and Legende will be in Geneva
Please note that the FAR messaging is not working - sent emails are getting stuck in the outbox.
Cheers,
M
