Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
Nothing surprising... Maybe this delay applies only to RHD.

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
He was more optimistic than that only a week ago - perhaps he's had another update. He was also talking about an LHD demonstrator doing the rounds of UK dealers. Perhaps that's not happening. It clearly doesn't pay to get over excited. I did get your PM thanks.GoldenAlp a écrit :Hi Bcr,
Good evening.
Today I received a message from Winchester. It appears there are delays. The Pure/Legende (previously to be delivered in November) delivery is now pushed back to 'Spring 2019'. Your PE should start being delivered in June.
Summary:
April - confirm PE orders
June - demonstrator arrives
August - showroom launch (work begins May 16th)
For Pure and Legende:
Summer - invite to test drive, confirm orders
Q4 - production starts
Pure and Legende will be in Geneva
Please note that the FAR messaging is not working - sent emails are getting stuck in the outbox.
Cheers,
M

More than a cayman S
If price is released only today that means definite orders have just begun?
Considering the price do you think British people will confirm pre orders?

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
If correct that is very disappointing (to me) it's equivalent to 1.129 to the pound - worse than the current exchange rate of 1.15. The pound is going up against the euro and forecast to get to 1.18 in the near future. i think it will affect sales if it is mirrored in the Pure and Legend. Forget about the headline that it puts the PE above the cost of the 718S - it doesn't . In fact the PE is STILL cheaper than a base 718 to a similar spec. However that will not be the case with the Pure and Legend and I think the Alpine will be a hard sell at those prices.
I shall try to confirm that figure with my dealer - I have to say having driven an Evora today I'm not sure my order is as guaranteed as I thought it was.

My car should arrive this week (Germany). I hope they don't ship by rail. Unfortunately it takes more than 8 working days to register a car here.

I got mine (in Auszria) on 11th April, It was the First Austrian Delivery. Currently I have 2.200 kms on the clock. I Never thought that automatic gear Shift with Paddels makes that fun!

Great, thanks for all the feedback and glad to see things are moving forward overseas as well. 2200km in 20 days is great achievement. You're probably the one with the most A110 PE driving experience at this stage.

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
Great forum . I received a lot of information from it. Although my impression is that many posts are too negative. Renault is not a start up. If there are any problems with this car, which might be possible because its a new car, I am quite confident that they will fix them. Nevertheless good to hear from e.g. Läusi that the cars delivered work well. My greatest concern is theft. Renault has a great product with Alpine, hope they can turn that into an economical success.

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
Depends where you leave, here in France theft is not a big issue with sports cars, much more if you own a Smart or little Renault Twingo, or at the opposite end of the spectrum a big german branded SUV !!

Re: A110 non-French speaking thread
A good way is to add google translation for non english speakers.

Merci
