A310V6 gas struts

Is it necessary to upgrade the gas struts on the engine cover to be able to accommodate and support the 'Heckspoiler' as fitted to the Pack GT.

The original struts opened the engine cover without assistance with the original rear spoiler fitted, as soon as the cable pull was released.

The 'Heckspoiler' is a heavier item.

Gas struts with Heckspoiler for pack gt : 300Nm

For normal car : 200Nm

So yes you must change your gas stress.
